Fred Battle (France)
Fred Battle’s fascination with cars has accompanied him since his childhood. In his works, he metaphorically decomposes cars into their individual parts, extracts their color, refers to cars from pop culture, works on the material metal, produces technical drawings of the bodies. Inspired by decay, urban deconstruction, and absurdity, he seizes objects and situations of the urban environment in order to reproduce them in his site-specific. His gigantic murals made him well known Europe-wide.
