Graffiti and art workshop with Sebastian Volgmann

The urban art artist, graffiti sprayer and painter Sebastian Volgmann from Rostock leads a course for beginners and advanced students for young people aged 12 and over who are interested in spray painting and art, with an assistant in and at the AWO Club. Here, ideas and designs are developed together, the drawing of figures and letters is learned, the composition of the picture and the color scheme are planned, motifs are implemented together or alone with spray cans, brushes, rollers and other tools of urban art, or stencils are made and creative highlights are experienced.

Only at FritzArt: The book premiere of Amok156 from Berlin

For the first time, Amok156 describes in book form his origins and his career, from growing up in flourishing Eastern Anatolia to moving to Istanbul and then to Berlin as a young boy and guest worker child, who followed his father to faraway Germany with his entire family. The formative stages of a migrant childhood are narrated here and placed in a historical context. In the special zone of Berlin in the 1980s, he helped shape the early days of the hip hop scene and rose to become the undisputed “king” of graffiti among the members of the German and migrant scene. Already in his early twenties, he takes over the role of his unexpectedly deceased father as head of the family and eventually starts a family of his own…
